Dear prayer partners,

I was hoping to get an e-mail out the beginning of this week and ask you all to pray for Tom as he had the yearly inspection of our land plane with a Peruvian inspector. Although due to him needing our laptop I was not able to write.

So instead of a prayer request I am writing about a praise. The inspection went very well and our plane is OK'd to fly for another year. These inspections are one of the few times I see Tom stressed. (The boy does not do stress!) Anyway, as usual God is so faithful and good to us. For the past seven months Tom has had the pleasure of working with a Wycliffe missionary mechanic. Mark Ott has worked for years in Pucallpa at Wycliffe's airbase maintaining their planes. Due to down sizing they no longer have any planes here. We, Samair, fly for Wycliffe, so they offered a mechanic to help our program. Mark was assigned to work with SAM. His experience with planes and the Peruvian gov't has been an incredible help to Tom.

God was planning this meeting with the Peruvian inspector almost two years ago. While Mark was in the states he took a class at the Continental aircraft factory. The Peruvian inspector was in the same class as Mark. Mark befriended him, spoke Spanish with him and took him back and forth from his hotel every day. A solid friendship was formed.

Then two years later, we find out that he is our chief inspector. Coincidence, NOT!! Our God does not work that way. We are now praying for the relationship he will have with Tom and Mark and that they will have an opportunity to share the gospel and for his salvation.

Thank you for your continued prayer support of our ministry!

In His Care,
Kelly
