September is the month of beginnings for us here. Here is a small list of the goings on:

September 7th - School begins! Please be in prayer for our Academy. We are beginning the school year low in numbers but high in faith. We are building a list of all former alumni of the Academy. If you are a past or present student, whether you graduated or just attended, we would love to include you in this list. Please contact Dale Richard at the Academy with your information. The number there is 315-823-3696. Thank you in advance!

September 15th - Our Annual Business Meeting will be held at the church in Fellowship Hall. Please plan to attend this important meeting. We will be voting in 2 new trustees and 3 new deacons as well as a new church clerk.

September 18th - The bowling league will be starting back up again. Stay tuned for more information as the time gets closer.

September 19th - AWANA kicks off for the year!! We had a fabulous year last year and we are working hard to make it even better this year. Come join us Sunday evenings from 4:30 - 6:30 at the Mohawk Valley Christian Academy. There are classes for Cubbies, Sparks and TNT, grades K through 6th. We also have a DE, Double Edge, program for students that are in 7th and up. We hold these meetings in alternating locations so please pick up a calendar at church or call the office. September 28th - A new Evangelism Training Class begins. It will begin at 6:45 PM with class time in the Fellowship Hall. After that, we will go out to visit people and use the skills that we have learned from class. If you are nervous about sharing your faith or just aren't sure how to - then this is the class for you.

September 29th - Our home Bible studies begin. We have several homes where Bible studies are conducted. There is sure to be one near you. Please call the church during business hours if you are interested and we can find a home that is closest to you.
